Ronn Vigh
Wearing a fur and sequin coat from the collection of Mary Van Note, and a suede fringe necklace from the collection of Molly Schminke.
Ronn, a former writer for Fashion Police, went on stage and performed jokes he would’ve written for Joan Rivers had she been there that night to perform.  The crowd loved it.  Later he brought out host Mary Van Note and the two of them did a mock Fashion Police segment with real jokes that Ronn wrote for the show, and Mary telling the ones that were rejected in front of a slideshow of celebrity red carpet photos.  It was the highlight of Feathers & Filth: A Tribute to Joan Rivers.

On Oct 2, 2014 at Cobb’s Comedy Club SF comedians paid tribute to the goddess of comedy Joan Rivers by doing what she loved most, performing!  All comedians on the show were decked out in Joan’s style, wearing feathers, fur or sequins and huge statement necklaces while telling the filthiest of jokes. A portion of proceeds benefitted Joan’s favorite charities God’s Love We Deliver and the Elton John AIDS Foundation.
Comedians on the show all shared that Joan-esque essence of edginess, razor-sharp wit and passion for comedy: Scott Capurro, Kelly Pryce, Pippi Lovestocking, Sandra Risser, Conor Kellicutt, and special guest Ronn Vigh, writer for Fashion Police! Hosted by Mary Van Note (editor of Comedy Stylings).  There was also a special performance from members of the SF Gay Men’s Chorus, and a short tribute video from Margaret Cho.  It was a really fun and special night.  Comedy Stylings photographer Red Scott was shooting back stage and those photos will be posted here throughout the week.
Deborah Norville said at Joan’s memorial service, "To all of you here—and to those who loved Joan: Go out there and make people laugh. DO something. Say Something. Wear something that makes someone else chuckle," she explained. "Take a video, put it on Facebook with the hashtag: #JoanRiversChallenge"
She added, “Honor our friend by going out there and making someone laugh, so that the laughter Joan Rivers lived for—never dies.”
